Pile Burning at Bowman Creek Natural Area


Come support Columbia Land Trust (a PBA member) in burning hand piles that resulted from thinning work on their Bowman Creek Natural Area parcel near Goldendale, WA. We'll ​also spend some time touring a unit that was broadcast burned (i.e., understory prescribed burn) in fall 2024.

​​We will be burning 10am-3pm both Friday, Dec 13 and Saturday, Dec 14.

  • ​​​We'll be there from around 10am to 3pm; feel free to join for some or all of that time.

  • ​​​Dress for the weather, and bring gloves, sturdy boots, and a hard hat if you have one.
